Affiliated RCEs

The National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) established the Regional Centers of Excellence (RCEs) for Biodefense and Emerging Infectious Diseases Research to support research in the development of new and improved vaccines, diagnostic tools, and therapies to protect against infectious and immune-mediated illnesses. Each of the ten RCEs represent a network of institutions located in a particular region within the United States that collaborate on this type of research.
